Women’s Month is a time to celebrate the achievements, strength, and resilience of women throughout history and in our lives today. It’s an opportunity to honor their contributions in every field—from science to art to activism—and to continue advocating for gender equality and empowerment for future generations.
In Sampson County, Georgina Zeng stands out as a remarkable example of leadership and service. As president of the Clinton-Sampson Rotary Club, she has championed educational opportunities, awarding scholarships to local high school students through the club’s annual fundraiser. Zeng also made history by receiving her first Paul Harris Fellow pin, recognizing her commitment to Rotary International’s mission. Her decade-long tenure on the Clinton City Schools Board, including time as chairperson, was marked by passionate advocacy for teachers and students. Beyond education, she contributes to economic development as a member of the Sampson County Economic Development Advisory Board and leads as the owner of ELC Real Estate. Zeng’s multifaceted impact reflects the spirit of Women’s Month—uplifting communities through dedication, vision, and service.
